SECRET GULLY WILDLIFE

KOALA

This page is a long term project and will gradually be added to. It is not meant to be an exhaustive study, but simply a casual observation of the easily noticed wildlife.

Secret Gully is set in the lower reaches of the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range in Northern New South Wales. It is a somewhat transitional area for some wildlife whose presence alters with the seasons. The terrain is steep and rocky with high ridges surrounding a sheltered valley. It is mostly eucalyptus dominated humid woodland with patches of wet sclerophyll forest.

Following is a list of the most common wildlife we have seen in the Secret gullly. We will gradually provide information about these creatures
