Nibbles
the koala was relaxing in a nice eucalypt tree. He had finished
a large breakfast of leaves and was thinking about what to do
next. "I know", he thought. "I'll go and have a
look at the creek"
Nibbles climbed
down from his tree. Down, down, down he climbed until he reached
the ground. He trotted along the forest floor for a while until
he came to a little pool of water. "This water must flow into
the creek" he thought.
"If I
climb a tree now I should be able to see down into the rocky creek",
thought Nibbles. So he found a eucalypt tree with nice smooth bark
and began to climb. Up he went, higher and higher.
When Nibbles
reached the top of the tree he sat on a comfortable branch and
look down. Sure enough, there was the rocky creek, hidden between
rocky ridges and soft green trees. Nibbles sat for a long while
looking at the beautiful view.
